This webinar presents earned value analysis and the associated metrics.  It provides an overview of earned value analysis and addresses a predicament many project managers find themselves in today when a buyer insists on using earned value reporting metrics on a fixed price contract.  This is becoming more and more common as earned value reporting is adopted by the private and public sectors - and particularly the federal government. Several examples of earned value management metric calculations for projects are provided including those for cost-plus (cost reimbursement) type contracts and fixed-price type contracts. The webinar ends with a summary of the value of earned value management metrics in projects, and which contract types it makes the most sense for.
